You May
- Use the evaluation editions our scripts for testing purposes on your
local machine for free
- Change or modify the source code to suit your needs
You May Not
- Redistribute our scripts or articles
- Claim or imply that the script was written by someone other
than its true author (You can't make it look like you wrote it)
- Remove or alter any copyright notices or license information
- Use our scripts on a company intranet or elsewhere without a license
Non-profit businesses do not automatically qualify for free usage of scripts.
Discounted usage may or may not be available for small or disadvantaged
organizations.
Please be aware that these rules may change at any time, for any reason.
Exceptions to the General Terms of Use
Selected scripts are freely available as open-source.
This is distinguishable in a source-code comment.
If you have downloaded a script with such comment,
you may use that script under the restrictions granted by the comment.
Unless otherwise noted, the General Terms of Use apply.
Pricing and Payments
Discounted Pricing
Advertised discounted prices are available to new and return customers.
Discovery of Unlicensed Usage
Advertised discounted pricing is not available to
unlicensed script usage. If a user contacts DHTML Kitchen
to purchase a license after having used the script, a discount
may be given at our discretion.
Late Payments
Payment must be made within 30 days of receipt of invoice. If payment
is not made in such time a penalty
of 5% of the amount owed is added to the total amount owed. Each subsequent
month that payment is late, a penalty of 5% of the total owed amount
is assessed and compounded. Thus, the formula:
n = number of months late
Amount owed = ( cost_of_script * 1.05n )
Accounts that are over 6 months late will be turned over to
collections.
Non-paying customers will be charged for any collections-related
charges that we must pay.
Unlicensed Usage
Unlicensed usage of the scripts will result in the user being required to
purchase the a license for the unlicensed script at full price (no discount).
The license type will be assessed by the usage of the script. If it is
not possible to determine the usage (within a reasonable certainty),
Then the user will be required to purchase a
Unlimited Distributed Application License for the script.

Customers who have been approved for a free licene must be
display a link back to DHTML Kitchen on the pages that use
the script, using one of the following links:
Non Payment
Non payment will result in collections-agency referral. The non-paying customer will
be held responsible for paying for collections-agency fees as well as any
other late fees.

Privacy Policy
We do not divulge information about our customers.
Caveat
If a user (person or organization)
of one of our products has been found using the product
without a license, we will attempt to contact the user
to resolve the issue. People make mistakes.
However, If the user refuses to cooperate or
commnunicate with us,
we will make a public notice of their illegal activity.
Al Rajhi Bank is a good example.
Once an overdue account is past 6 months old,
the account is no longer kept private
and is turned over to collections.
